A submission will be declined if it contains images used without permission. We’re all for the use of other elements to enhance a presentation, but permission must be given to use images that do not belong to you.
Submission deemed inappropriate
A submission can be declined if it contains material that makes us feel a little uneasy. Many of our products are worn by children and adults alike, so care should be taken when selecting your submissions.
Image is too small, too large, or poorly designed
Images should be at least 300×300 pixels at 150dpi or higher.
Artwork that is under 150dpi or less than 400 x 400 pixels at 72dpi (screen resolution) are generally too poor in quality for reproduction on our jewelry. Artwork that is over 300dpi is unnecessarily large in file size and more time consuming to process. Please keep your images at a reasonable file size. 300×300 pixels at 150 – 300dpi resolution works best!
Critical elements not visible
While most design elements can translate well to some of our tiny size jewelry, some do not. Very, very thin lines or shapes may appear distorted or disappear altogether when miniaturized. Also, the lighter the color of these thin lines to harder they are to see. Bolder, darker colors appear best for very thin lines that may be critical to the work.
Not now, but maybe later…
We want to provide a broad, fun, interesting assortment of designs to our customers, so, naturally we are always looking for something new. If you don’t hear back from us immediately, don’t worry. We may have many designs to go through, or your design might work better down the road, during a special promotion or season.
